The market in London Corner is called ''"MARCI NGLEWE"'' and was officially open in 1994 by the president of the second Republic of the Gambia, Yahya Jammeh. Before it was a market, the youths use it as a football field. In London Corner you will fine out that most of its people know each other and live like a family. The main sport played in London Corner is football and there are lots of football teams in London Corner. These teams do play in the Serekunda East Nawettan Zone, notable of them are London United Football Club, Wales Football Club, Janjanga FC, Nguma FC, Check Point FC, Bayern FC and lots more. The only playing ground in London Corner is call ''ZION''.
